At a crossroads?
How can we learn to make decisions for ourselves that help us to
move on? We all experience the pain of difficult relations with
ourselves and others, i.e. repeated destructive relationships,
depression and dissatisfaction. Through psychotherapy this may be
explored using tools such as 'mindfulness'. Mindfulness may help us
to understand, befriend and work with our challenges; it may also
remind us of our own sources of joy, laughter and happiness. The
extent to which we may know our joy, is the extent to which we may
heal our pain.
Core Process Psychotherapy
…follows your needs, as the client, so that no two sessions are
alike although themes will occur over time. Getting to know yourself
more fully and a dedication to finding sources of joy are integral
parts of Core Process Psychotherapy. (UKCP accredited training)
How I work
I use a gentle approach to psychotherapy that explores the
possibility of change by paying attention to the body as well as the
mind. Sessions are conducted with warmth, respect and a willingness
to welcome all that may emerge. I have a background of working with
families as a mediator, and with vulnerable adolescents both for
local authorities and privately. In my current training as an adult
psychotherapist I am offering sessions at a reduced fee.
